Travel advice changes for over 50 countries

The Foreign Office announced today that travel restrictions will be eased for 51 countries, no longer advising against travel to non-red list countries.

This follows the removal of travel restrictions to 32 countries which came into effect on Wednesday 6 October.

People coming into Britain will no longer need to take a PCR before travelling, nor on the 8th day after arrival.

Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said: “These updates make travel abroad easier – boosting trade, tourism and reuniting friends and families. I am delighted that the safe reopening of travel allows people to exercise personal responsibility and visit more destinations across the globe.”
