Rayner accuses PM of ‘dangerous’ choices over alleged Covid rules breach

Deputy Labour leader Angela Rayner has accused prime minister Boris Johnson of “dangerous” decisions after he was alleged to have attended a Christmas party last year.

This afternoon Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer accused the Prime Minister of “taking the British public for fools” in relation to reports he attended a Christmas gathering that breached lockdown rules last year.

Ms Rayner said via Twitter: “The Prime Minister has lived his life never facing consequences for breaking the rules. But when you occupy Number 10 during a pandemic that’s not just wrong, its dangerous.

“We can’t have one rule for him and another for everyone else anymore.”
