Public accounts committee oral evidence session

At 9.00am, the public accounts committee will be questioning senior Treasury officials on fraud and loss to the taxpayer from COVID employment schemes.

Witnesses include: Jim Harra, Chief Executive and First Permanent Secretary at HM Revenue and Customs; Janet Alexander, Director, Compliance Operations Directorate at HM Revenue and Customs; and Beth Russell, Second Permanent Secretary at HM Treasury.

This is part of the committee’s enquiry into COVID-19 Employment Support Schemes.
