All countries to be removed from England’s Covid ‘red list’
The remaining seven countries on England’s Covid travel red list are set to be removed, according to the BBC.
People arriving from Colombia, Peru, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Venezuela and Ecuador are currently required to quarantine for ten days in a hotel.
However countries could reportedly be re-added to the list if their Covid cases were to rise.
Last month the government narrowed the “traffic light” system to just “green” and “red” list countries, eliminating the previous “amber” category, and removed dozens of countries from the previous red list of 62 countries.
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland control their own travel rules.
