UK space industry ‘in danger of missing out’

Owen Thompson, the SNP member for Midlothian, is leading a debate on the future of the UK space industry.

The UK plans to capture 10% of the global space market by 2030, but Mr Thompson says that without concrete action other space industries will steal a lead on home-nation industries.

The UK currently has a 6% share of the space market but the industry is estimated to lose out on around €300 million a year due to Brexit.
