Ian Lavery urges government to learn lessons of P&O Ferries scandal

The Labour MP Ian Lavery today initiated a Westminster Hall debate on the lessons to learn from the P&O Ferries scandal.

Speaking in the debate, Mr Lavery said: “It’s a scandal that the £11.5 million P&O Ferries received in furlough payments from the UK taxpayer hasn’t been repaid and the DP World will benefit from lucrative terms freeport contract”.
