Two more arrested over NI police officer murder

Two more men have been arrested over the murder of Northern Ireland police officer Stephen Carroll.

The men, aged 31 and 27, were arrested in Craigavon, County Armagh, this morning, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed.

Five other people are being questioned by police over the murder of PC Carroll, who was shot dead while answering a call for help on Monday night.

The continuity IRA have already claimed responsible for the attack.

Four people, including leading republican Colin Duffy, have also been arrested over the deaths of soldiers Patrick Azimkar, 21, and Mark Quinsey, 23, who were killed last weekend.
