Zahawi says Oxford ‘owes explanation to Jewish students’ for taking ‘fascist’ funding

The education secretary Nadhim Zahawi has said that the University of Oxford ‘owes explanation to Jewish students’ for accepting a donation from the Mosley family.

Zahawi said the university must make sure to “consult and explain the decision-making process” to Jewish students.

The university has received extensive criticism after The Telegraph newspaper revealed that had accepted over £12.3 million in donations from the Mosley family trust, overseen by the descendants of Oswald Mosley, the former leader of the British Union of Fascists.
