The lords today: former PMs’ allowances and pancreatic cancer

From 2.30pm, the Lords will quiz the government for 40 minutes on:

• energy supply shortfalls in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
• survival rates for pancreatic cancer
• staff shortages in social care
• former Prime Ministers’ allowances.

Members will have their first opportunity to debate the key principles of the Counsellors of State Bill and the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding Bill) at second reading.
