Randox overhauls T&Cs in wake of sleaze row

Randox, the Covid testing firm that bagged £600m worth of Covid contracts has updated its terms and conditions in the wake of accusations it contravened competition laws.

The firm has said it will now issue clearer information to customers on when it will release PCR tests and results, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) announced this morning.

Conservative MP Owen Paterson resigned from his North Shropshire seat last month, after lobbying ministers and officials on behalf of the firm while being employed as a paid consultant for the company.

The company says it has also improved notifications of customers rights to cancel and request refunds.
