PM working on series of policy announcements dubbed ‘Operation Red Meat’ to win back voters

According to The Sunday Times, Mr Johnson is preparing a series of policy announcements – dubbed “Operation Red Meat” – to woo back disillusioned colleagues and voters.

These policies may include: a freeze of the BBC licence fee for two years and a military crackdown on migrant crossings in the Channel. The are further reports that a “booze ban” might hit No. 10.

Sources have also informed The Independent that Mr Johnson could be planning to isolate members of his inner circle under a plan named Operation Save Big Dog. According to the paper, the PM is drawing up a list of officials to offer resignations over “partygate”.
