MP expresses concern about South London school ceiling collapse

An MP has expressed concern about the collapse of school celling in her South London constituency.

Helen Hayes, the Labour MP for Dulwich & West Norwood, said via Twitter: “Very concerned to hear of the collapse of a ceiling at Rosemead School this morning. My thoughts are with the children, staff and parents. I hope no-one is seriously injured. I’ve contacted the school to offer my support. My thanks to the emergency services who attended the scene.”

Her remarks came in response to a statement from the London Fire Brigade that “crews have been at the scene of a ceiling collapse at a school in #Dulwich this morning”.
