Man pleads not guilty to harassing Conservative MP

A man accused of harassing Conservative MP Philip Hollobone has pleaded not guilty.

According to local reports a 41 year-old has been charged with harassment in relation to alleged offences against the Kettering MP earlier this year.

This morning he appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court appeared after being charged with harassment.

He is accused of harassing Mr Hollobone via unwanted phone calls, emails, text and voice messages,  and of pursuing him while jogging.

The trial is scheduled for March 10 and 11 next year,
