Calls to expel Conservative councillor accused of far-right posts

Conservative councillor Tim Wills has been accused of posting messages in a private Telegram chat group organised by far-right group Patriotic Alternative (PA), according to the pressure group ‘Hope Not Hate’ who are calling for his expulsion from the party.

PA is a white nationalist group that says it has active branches across the UK. It was founded in July 2019 by Mark Collett, former director of publicity with the British National Party.

“No more listening to the lies they spread, it’s the day of reckoning for the blood we share!” Wills, who represents the Marine Ward in Worthing, West Sussex, reportedly said in one message to the group in August.

Last month he allegedly wrote in a post in the chat: “My view is Covid is a loss maker for us, we just need to centre on white genocide […] because many of our white race are convinced about vaccines, but not about our replacement, and need to be informed about this?”

He reportedly criticised the Conservative Party in the chat and did not initially disclose that he was a councillor, saying that the party was “the worst for talking the talk and never delivering” and that “at least Labour admit the cucks they are,” but later said he was “Trying to infiltrate and influence those in power”, adding: “My view is Tories are best of a rotten lot.”
