Dr Andy Palmer CMG

Andy Palmer was the CEO of Aston Martin between 2014-2020. Prior to that he was the COO at Nissan. At the latter, he launched the Nissan LEAF, the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle. He has been referred to in the media as the ‘godfather of EVs’. Before the 2024 general election, Palmer worked with Rt Hon Jonathan Reynolds MP to draft Labour’s automotive strategy.
