In response to Ryanair profit forecast and comments by Michael O’Leary https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61463274, BALPA General Secretary Martin Chalk said:

“Ryanair pilots, who made huge sacrifices to help the company though the Covid crisis, are pleased they’ve helped the company to a position where it is able to make profit.

“Our members now need to see management acknowledge their loyalty. BALPA is in negotiations with management to end the covid mitigation measures put in place over the last two years and to see some recognition, from management, of the loyalty and sacrifices the workforce has made.”
