‘Chancellor should apologise to the excluded’

Rishi Sunak has been asked to apologise for ‘letting down’ millions of workers that are still falling through gaps in financial support.

In the Budget, extra support was announced for 600,000 newly self-employed workers, but over 2.4 million taxpayers still aren’t covered.

Rachel Flower from Excluded UK says it is ‘heartbreaking and very unjust’ that the chancellor continues to dispute the numbers.
