Daniel Kawczynski was re-elected MP for Shrewsbury and Atcham on May 7th 2015 with 24628 votes, taking 45.5% of the vote.
Daniel was brought up in Surrey, before going to Stirling University to study Business Studies with French and Spanish. He then worked in telecommunications for ten years as an international account manager, travelling extensively in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Daniel was elected as the Member of Parliament for Shrewsbury and Atcham in May 2005. Since being elected Daniel has set up an All Party Parliamentary Group for Dairy Farming and also the APPG for First Past the Post. Daniel is also Chairman of both the Saudi Arabia APPG and the Libya APPG. He was part of the Shadow Foreign Affairs Team and is a member of the International Development Committee during the 2010-2015 Parliamentary session.
