Wishart mocks Gove, Johnson and Anderson after emergency budget omission

In an amusing question to the leader of the House of Commons regarding the seriousness of the cost of living, SNP spokesperson Pete Wishart highlighted the omission of an emergency budget.

Wishart drew attention to Michael Gove’s viral interview on the BBC in which the secretary of state spoke in a range of accents, asking whether Gove is “providing the after dinner entertainment” at the cabinet meeting in Stoke today.

Leader of the House Mark Spencer told MPs that the government would help people “earn their way out of this crisis”.
