Wallace insists that the UK is keeping up with Europe on defence spending 

During defence questions, shadow secretary John Healey asked defence secretary Ben Wallace why the UK is not following 14 other European countries that have “rebooted defence plans, spending and procurement”.

Wallace insisted that the UK are keeping up, telling the House of Commons that the UK were “the first to increase spending significantly in Europe to supply Ukraine”.

Wallace also told the House that the UK is “threat based” and has increased the army by 500”.
