Saxby asks for sustainable support of bereavement charity

In her Westminster Hall speech, Selaine Saxby called on the government to help support the National Bereavement Partnership charity, to sustain support for the higher number of bereaved coming out of the pandemic.

Saxby reminded MPs that in helping this charity, “it eases the NHS and it stops more people entering” the NHS mental health system.

The Conservative MP paid tribute to the founder of the charity Michaela Ellis MBE who is “an expert” when it comes to talking about death, something at which the UK is “not good”.
