Rishi Sunak: ‘If anyone needs me, I will be in Yorkshire’
In his final appearance at prime minister’s questions as a frontbencher, Rishi Sunak said he plans to spend the rest of this parliament advocating on behalf of his constituents in Yorkshire.
Addressing MPs for the last time as Conservative leader, Sunak said that once he is relieved of his frontbench duties, he will be “spending more time in the greatest place on Earth, where the scenery is worthy of a movie set, and everyone is a character.
“That’s right, Mr. Speaker. If anyone needs me, I will be in Yorkshire.”
