Tony Blair will return to give evidence at the Iraq Inquiry next Friday, it has been confirmed.

The former prime minister will appear on the January 21st, to answer more questions about the lead up and execution of the war.

As before, a third of the seats in the hall will be allocated to bereaved families who lost loved ones in the fighting.

Mr Blair’s last appearance saw him criticised for a rigid and unapologetic manner, in which he repeatedly refused to apologise for the invasion and promoted conflict with Iran.
