Immigration concerns rise for third week running in YouGov poll

Concern about immigration is up for the third week in a row on YouGov’s ‘top issues facing the country’ tracker.

The percentage of people saying that immigration is the top concern for the country has increased by 11 points between November 7 to 23, to 34%.

Health has increased by 2 points to 49%.

Despite the rising cost of livening, the economy has fallen by 5 points as a concern.

Interestingly, an Ipsos Mori poll also released today showed that Conservative voters were twice as like to mention climate change than immigration as a key concern.
