Blair will face tough questions over Iraq this week

D-Day for Blair

D-Day for Blair

Tony Blair appears in front of the Iraq inquiry this week, as he finally answers criticism of the war.

Many relatives of those who lost their lives will attend the hearing, while others will gather outside the conference centre to read out the names of those who died in the conflict.

The session is the first official appointment Mr Blair has attended since leaving office which concentrates on his most controversial decision as prime minister.

His appearance, combined with the Afghanistan conference on Thursday, has raised security concerns in the capital.
