The UCL Conservative Society was founded in 1908 to "enable and facilitate any member of University College London Union to learn more about UK politics; get involved in the political system of the UK; and interact with members of the UK's political establishment: all from the standpoint of the UK Conservative Party."
It aims to promote political discussion among students, to educate students about the UK's political system with particular interest in the Conservative Party and to enjoy social events with like minded people around London.
The blog for the Conservative society of University College London provides posts on Conservative news.
It's largely an informative site, providing notices and news stories without developing that into opinion.
It's nicely laid out and features a number of additional options for readers including polls, photos and links to various other sites.
While not hugely inspiring it serves a purpose and in completing that purpose it performs well.
