Biography:

Tom Elliott was elected as UUP MP for Fermanagh & South Tyrone on May 7th 2015 with 23608 votes, taking 46.4% of the vote.

Since 1998, Tom has also been Honorary Secretary of the Fermanagh Divisional Unionist Association, and chairman of the internal Ulster Unionist ad-hoc Review Group for its duration. Passionately involved in society, Tom has been an activist in the Ballinamallard Ward Ulster Unionist committee for many years and is chairman of that committee. In June 2010, Tom announced his intention to run in the 2010 Ulster Unionist Party leadership election, and was elected on 22nd September 2010; he resigned in 2012, triggering the 2012 Ulster Unionist Party leadership election. Prior his election to UK Parliament, he was Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (2003-2015).

Tom studied at Ballinamallard Primary School and Duke of Westminster High School, Ballinamallard & Kesh. Afterwards, he earned a College Certificate in Agriculture from the Enniskillen College of Agriculture.
