Biography

Simon Clark is director of the smokers' lobby group Forest and founder of The Free Society.


Simon has been director of Forest since January 1999. He is Forest's principal spokesman and is responsible for campaigns, policies and the overall philosophy and direction of the group.


Blog Information

Simon's tireless campaigning on behalf of British smokers deserves a medal.


He's well qualified for his job at Forest; as this blog shows his views on smoking reflect a wider political perspective which is preoccupied against the nanny state.


This is well-written stuff; and mercifully he's not always up in arms about smoking. Well-balanced rather than ranting.
