Biography:
Richard Arkless was elected SNP MP for Dumfries and Galloway on May 7th 2015 with 23440 votes, taking 41.4% of the vote.
Richard is an active campaigner for the independence of Scotland. He started advocating it after the 2007 Scottish Parliament election in which the SNP were elected as a minority government.
Richard studied Financial Services at Glasgow Caledonian University and has an LLB from the University of Strathclyde.
