Politics for People

Biography

Unofficially blogging for the Co-operative Party, part of the global co-operative movement.

They work with the Labour Party to influence its policies towards more co-operative solutions.

They believe in individual empowerment and self-help and believe that a better share of this planet's wealth between northern and southern hemispheres and a greater respect for our environment will help us build a sustainable, safer and progressive society.

Blog Information

Politics for People shares most of the problems faced by party-political blogs; namely, that they risk being seen as a mouthpiece.

There are some interesting posts on Politics for People, but they are outweighed by announcements of the membership of national youth committees and party announcements.

Benefits can be gained however, if you are interested in the policy areas and concerns of the party, in which case some insider commentary can be found in amongst the more drab offerings.
