Open Road is an independent consultancy founded in 2007 by four senior and highly experienced communications professionals.


Blog Information

Despite the corporate parentage, Open Road doesn't steer clear of controversial issues.


Unfortunately, it doesn't go for the jugular either, probably due to a fear of losing future contracts.


The PR focus of the blog basically incorporates a little bit of everything. There's a strong political slant, but stories about by-elections and extradition treaties sit quite happily with posts about the ill-thought out campaigns of the Met office and new applications sprouting up on the web.


The variety of subject matter is one of the blog's best qualities, but the writing is variable. Useful - probably very useful - for those in the field though.
