ModernityBlog is appalled by any form of dictatorship, or the threat of it.
His opposition to fascism in Britain and non-democratic regimes abroad go hand in hand, and are somehow consistent with the very cynical approach taken to the Conservative party too.
The blog is very good at picking out relevant stories on these themes and is a useful source as such.
There's also a strong vein of technology-related posts in among the politics too.
