Biography

The Libertarian Alliance (often known as the LA) is Britain's leading free market and civil liberties think tank, founded nearly 40 years ago.


It currently has rather more than 800 publications in print, dedicated to the principles of life, liberty and property.


They run on what, in the Anglosphere, is called a "shoestring".


David Cameron's budget for tea and biscuits in Ten Downing Street would be bigger than our annual spend.


Blog Information

The LA has been hovering on the fringes of British politics for a good few decades now, and the relaxed content of much of its blog reflects its back-seat attitude.


Alongside the usual cheerful libertarian grumbliness about everything and anything are some excellent asides, from the attractiveness of continental pop stars to the love life of certain Lib Dem MPs.
