Biography

Launched in the summer of 2004 and what started off as an 'ad hoc' blog to record the increasing amounts of political incompetence and interference in the NHS has since mushroomed.

As has the Health Direct blog- which now has over 1,500 daily news posts. It has an active following which includes the Department of Health.

In 2008 they were accepted by the Health On the Net's HON Code of Conduct (HONcode) for medical and health websites.


Blog Information

Not so much a blog as an aggregator for health-related articles on the web - but it's no worse for that.

If you've got an interest in anything to do with the NHS, drug policy or any number of other health-related issues, you could do far worse than stop off here.

Regular posting, broad sources and a clean if relatively uninspiring look elevate this above most aggregating blogs.

We still would have liked a bit more original content though.
