Graham Jones

Biography:

Graham Jones was re-elected as Labour MP for Hyndburn on May 7th 2015 with 18076 votes, taking 42.1% of the vote.

Graham has been a Labour Councillor on Hyndburn borough council from 2001 to 2010. His arrival in Parliament followed the the unexpected retirement of Hyndburn MP Greg Pope on June 2009. After his victory, was appointed to the Labour Whips office by Ed Miliband, once he became leader of the Party.

Graham attended the University of Central Lancashire, to study a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Studies. In 1989, he studied Graphic Design, and completed the City and Guilds qualification in Desktop Publishing, followed by an employment at Hollands Pies.
