Eco Geek
Biography
Brian Fitzgerald, and leads the (multiple) webby-award winning digital communications team at Greenpeace International.
This blog is (mostly) a glimpse behind the scenes at Greenpeace and a repository for lessons learned through experiments in online activism and social media.
He believes that planet earth is evolving a mammalian brain, and that the internet is knitting the neural cortex. We are the synaptic nerves that constitute its conscience.
Blog Information
The backstage news from the Greenpeace communications manager is not nearly as dry or geeky as you might expect from the biography or the name.
More of a backstage diary "in the life of" than a political blog but interesting none the less.
Although, sometimes it's in danger of being solely a back-slapping exercise for his colleagues at Greenpeace. But hell, they do deserve praise.
Our only criticism would be that the blog seems to be updated only when there's a major publicity stunt - roughly twice a month - which makes it more of an occasional "dip in" than a regular subscriber-friendly blog.
