DfT: Rail transport for disabled people
Monday, 03 Mar 2008 17:08
Two consultations from the Department for Transport are looking at how to improve rail services in Britain for disabled people.
One is examining whether or not to revise standard guidance for train operating companies on disabled person's protection policies, while the other addresses the wider code of practice for train and station standards for disabled people.
They have in part been triggered by the introduction of regulations affecting the trans-European network, which incorporates around 40 per cent of Great Britain's rail network.
The consultations end on May 23rd 2008.
