Biased BBC

Biography

Biased BBC is run by volunteers in their spare time, so they cannot check out or document every incident of bias. Your comments will be more credible if you are moderate in tone and can quote a URL or time, date, channel, speaker and programme.

Polite disagreement is welcome, but the website reserves the right to delete, edit or refuse to publish comments we find unsuitable for any reason.

Blog Information

Biased BBC has for us one of the best names in the blogsphere. It gives you a good impression of what this blog is all about right from the start.

To some extent it is an attack blog. Its intended victim, obviously, the Beeb. Why? Because apparently the BBC is biased in favour of the Labour party and left-wing politics in general.

To be fair this has always been something the right has managed to sell to the public very well. That all media are really left-leaning, tree-hugging, gay-loving liberals and generally a bit soft.

Unfortunately it's a myth, but that doesn't really matter because David Vance's readers will no doubt agree with him and his politics, and reading just a few of the comments shows exactly what those views are.

Regardless it's an excellent blog and we're sure one that BBC reporters and executives read on a regular basis, either with total annoyance or sheer delight depending on their personal point of view.

Similar in tone to the likes of Guido Fawkes, Biased BBC doesn't pull its punches. That said, this was a recent post that sets an example maybe some of Biased BBC's fellow bloggers might wish to follow:

"It's been a while BUT I notice a decline again in the language being used here SO can I politely ask you all to ensure that whilst points are made with passion and wit, vulgarity is left at the front door? It makes the site better."
