Blog Information

As many people interested in political blogging will know, MPs that blog are almost as rare as hen's teeth.

There are probably less than 30 - out of the 600 or so MPs that sit in the House of Commons - that do so and most of them appear to be luddites when it comes to anything technological.

But Andy Love MP blogs! And reasonably often too.

It's not a bad blog either, although he is a Labour back bencher we get the impression he doesn't slavishly tow the party line.

That said, Andy's blog does tend to come across as more of a marketing exercise to prove how much he is working for his constituents.

Now, we know we can't have it both ways and MPs should be blogging and working for their constituents and letting them know what they've been up to. But this blog just takes that a little too far and if we're honest is a little too PC.

A little more opinion expressed here and a little less reasonableness would make this a more interesting blog.

That said, if you're one of Andy's constituents and want to know what your local MP has been up to lately this is a good way to find out.
