This blog is the random musings of a computer programmer living in northwest Europe. Subjects covered include: science, technology and computing; international and domestic politics; war, weapons and warfare; religion from a rationalist atheist viewpoint; and anything else that he finds interesting.
The blog's strapline "La liberté consiste à pouvoir faire tout ce qui ne nuit pas à autrui" comes from the Declaration of the rights of Man and of the Citizen and is a declaration of the blogger's personal philosophy: people should be allowed to do anything they like, as long as they don't harm others.
The blogger states he believes in freedom of speech, but that freedom doesn't include the right to an audience: he has a moderation policy for his blog.
This blog is quite clearly Libertarian in its views and it's difficult to suggest a political persuasion beyond that.
It's regularly updated, which we like, and its author's views are clearly expressed in a well-reasoned way.
There's a fair amount of interaction between the blog's author and his readers as well.
