Biography

Alisdair Ross is 46 and married with two children. He stood for the Labour party in the Rushmere ward in Ipswich at 2006 and 2007 local elections and then won it for Labour on May 1st 2008. He lives in the ward and is a member of the north-east branch of the Ipswich Labour party.

In this blog he gives his political opinions on issues from home and abroad. He will also focus on the issues that affect the people of Ipswich and in particular those who live in Rushmere ward.

He also tries to give an insight into how he will be campaigning in Rushmere and Ipswich as Labour fights against the cuts planned by the Tory/Lib Dem alliance.

Blog Information

The focus is firmly based on local issues and the events of the councillor's day.

On the whole an unremarkable blog for anyone outside of Ipswich but for those who do have an interest in that area, this is an invaluable source.
