MPs and young people will be celebrating the success of a volunteering challenge with a parliamentary reception in the House of Commons on 21st October hosted by Dawn Butler MP, Chair of the All-Party Group on Youth Affairs.
Employers and educational institutions are being urged to promote volunteering as a way for young people develop skills in a report published today (September 10) by v the youth volunteering organisation.
The door has been opened for MPs across the country to see for themselves how young volunteers in their constituencies are making a difference to their communities.
v, the volunteering organisation, has re-shaped its Match Fund to attract new project ideas from the third sector and private funders.
