Employment Opportunities: Duke of Edinburgh to present first employment awards from leading disability charity

Founding patron of Employment Opportunities, H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, is to host the national charity’s first awards ceremony at St James’s Palace.
The Changing Lives Through Employment awards recognise the achievements of people with disabilities and long term medical conditions who have transformed their lives through employment.
The four awards are:
• Unilever Unlimiting Ambition (under 30s)
• Unilever Unlimiting Ambition (over 30s)
• Reuters Routes into Employment
• Lehman Brothers See the Ability
The winners, selected from 17 nominees, will be announced at the evening event.
The eight key sponsors for the event, who have all shown a strong commitment to diversity in their workforces are BT, E.ON, Capital Project Consultancy Ltd, Reuters, Unilever, Lehman Brothers, Simmons & Simmons and Unum.
