Sussex college teams up with BASC to teach kids about the countryside

Young people in East Sussex will be able to learn more about the countryside at a special activity day being held near Lewes in August.
The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is running a ‘Young Shots’ activity day for children aged 8-18 on 13 August in conjunction with Plumpton College.
The day will include gundog demonstrations, fly fishing, air rifle shooting, ferreting and clay shooting.
BASC’s regional officer for the south east, Jenni Thompson, said: “These activity days are brilliant for youngsters who want to find out more about the countryside and the activities that are involved in supporting it.”
