Plant Engineers have a new best friend today, as IPlantE (Institution of Plant Engineers) launches a free directory for those who source, specify and purchase plant equipment and associated services.

The Plant Engineer Directory is available online to all individuals and firms 24/7, making life much simpler when tasked with finding suppliers and services.

This directory is for operations engineers, managers and buyers who specify, install, operate, maintain and certify industrial equipment on major plant across all industry sectors – including the process industries, manufacturing, utilities, transportation, construction, commercial buildings and the Army, Navy and RAF.

IPlantE is a professional sector of SOE (Society of Operations Engineers), which is the leading membership organisation for engineers in the transport, plant and engineer surveying industries. This comprehensive directory will complement existing membership benefits.

Coverage includes electromechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, instrumentation, test and measurement systems, drives, motors, sensors, automation and controls, and industrial supplies, as well as training and consultancy services.

The printed Plant Engineer Yearbook will be sent to all members of IPlantE and there are a limited number of copies for non-members, who can also benefit from this definitive catalogue, absolutely free.
