Skills for Justice, the sector skills council for justice in the UK, have appointed a new Director of Operations. Amanda Ryalls started with the organisation this week, having previously worked in senior roles at the Sector Skills Development Agency (now called the UK Commission for Employment Skills).
Amanda says:
“It is a crucial time for Skills for Justice. Exciting developments like the new Compact agreement are taking place, which will release millions of pounds for new learning opportunities for people working In Justice. This will help organisations in the sector further develop their employees’ skills, in order to be more efficient and effective in the communities they serve. I’m relishing the opportunity of being involved in this with my new colleagues.”
Amanda replaces Felicity Winter, who has now become Director of the new Policy Directorate, created as the organisation looks to strengthen its role as a leading sector skills council, delivering high-quality skills and workforce development solutions to the UK Justice sector.
Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge to Skills for Justice from previous roles. Her new colleagues are looking forward to working with her at the head office in Sheffield, where she will be based.
