The National Housing Federation is inviting housing associations around the country to demonstrate the difference they are making to their communities by entering this year's Neighbourhood Awards.
Now in their fifth year, the Neighbourhood Awards celebrate the work of housing associations in creating better and safer places to live.
Eleven prestigious awards are up for grabs, in categories ranging from Greener Neighbourhoods to Local Engagement and Involvement.
Housing associations are also encouraged to nominate residents for the Best Neighbour category, for the person who has made the biggest contribution to improving their neighbourhood.
Housing associations have until 19 May to submit their entries via the Neighbourhood Awards website, www.neighbourhoodawards.org.uk.
Their entries will then be judged online by housing association tenants from around the country.
Winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on 18 September at the National Housing Federation Annual Conference in Birmingham.
David Orr, chief executive of the National Housing Federation, said, "The Neighbourhood Awards pay tribute to housing associations who have made their local community a better place to live.
"These awards are particularly special because they are judged by housing association tenants from across the country.
"Each year, the standard of entries gets better and better. We're confident that this year's Awards will be the biggest and best yet."
Ends.
