BSA (the Business Services Association) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Fox as its new Chief Executive from 1 November 2007.

Mark is currently Director of Communications & Public Affairs of the BVCA (the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association)

Commenting on the appointment, BSA Chairman, Phil Hooper said:

‘We are looking forward to Mark joining the BSA. He will bring experience and energy to the task of raising the profile of the BSA at a time when its members face a number of policy issues that affect the full range of outsourcing services offered through the public and private sectors.’

Mark Fox observed:

‘It is an exciting time to be taking on the leadership of the BSA and I am looking forward to it very much. Outsourcing is an increasingly important part of keeping our economy successful, flexible and competitive. Making the case for a productive partnership between government and the private sector in the provision of the full range of services requires an effective voice for the industry - this is my primary purpose at the BSA.’

BVCA Chairman Wol Kolade said:

‘We are grateful for what Mark has done at the BVCA over the last six years and wish him all the best for the future.’
