Thursday, 06 Mar 2008 12:10
The first title in 2008 from the National Association of Pension Funds’ (NAPF) Made Simple series has been launched today at the Association’s Investment Conference in Edinburgh.

Investing in Commercial Property Made Simple delivers a clear, concise explanation of the main features of property as an investment for UK pension funds.

As property has becoming increasing popular as an investment1, the guide is ideal for :-

· trustees;
· company executives;
· scheme secretaries;
· pensions managers and advisers;
· others involved or with an interest in the pensions and property sectors.

The guide describes in plain English, the main features of commercial property (retail, offices and industrial) as an investment for UK pension funds. It also compares the past performance of commercial property with the performance of other types of investment. The guide looks at different ways of investing in commercial property, as well as the risks.

Investing in Commercial Property Made Simple (hard copy) costs just £18 for NAPF members and £35 for non-members and can be ordered online at http://www.napf.co.uk/publications/. There are discounts for orders of five or more.

The guide has been sponsored by Goodman Property Investors and the NAPF would like to thank Michael Dinsdale (Goodman Property Investors) for his help in producing this guide.

The clarity of the guide has been approved by the Plain English Campaign
