Chamber of Shipping: Nautical consultant joins the Chamber

The Chamber of Shipping has appointed a Nautical Consultant, Saurabh Sachdeva.

Saurabh joins the Chamber of Shipping’s technical department from Trinity House and replaces Ian Trebinski.

Saurabh will be responsible for the following specialisms: ships’ routing, vessel traffic services, communications, navigational aids, offshore renewables and dangerous goods. He will also provide nautical advice to the Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) and assist Tim Springett, Head of Labour Affairs, on occupational health and safety matters.

Saurabh is a Master Mariner (class 1 unlimited) and currently studying for his Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) exams. He is a member of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners and the Nautical Institute.
